Luke Bianco, MD

Ophthalmologist

About Dr. Bianco

Dr. Luke Bianco is a licensed ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology who specializes in retina repair, including the latest treatments for macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. A native of Visalia, he studied medicine and ophthalmology in the Bay Area, New York, and Tennessee before returning to his hometown to establish his practice as the only full-time local retinal specialist more than 15 years ago.

With recent advances in the treatments available for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, Dr. Bianco can offer his patients an ever-expanding roster of options to restore their vision. He says, “When people come in they’re usually experiencing a profound loss of vision. I take the time to explain their condition and what their options are. In a lot of cases we can repair the problem with their retina and help them get their 20/20 back.”

In 2015, Dr. Bianco opened a new, state-of-the art practice in Visalia to provide his patients with personalized, friendly treatment for retinal diseases. His patients appreciate the great service they receive from the hand-picked team of dedicated staff, and the fact that Dr. Bianco has more time to spend with them. Many procedures, including intraocular injections, minor retinal repairs, and laser surgeries can be performed conveniently and quickly in Dr. Bianco’s office.

I love my patients, my practice, and my hometown. Patients come to me seeing really poorly, and as a retinal specialist I’m going to try everything to get their vision back.
